Directly impacted groves include Peyrone Grove, South Peyrone Grove, Red Hill Grove, Long Meadow Grove and Trail of 100 Giants. Black Mountain Grove, Parker Peak Grove, North Cold Springs Grove, Belknap Camp Grove, Packsaddle Grove and Starvation Creek Grove are all threatened."

"Major historical sites that are threatened include the scatted logging camps and mill sites as well as the the Redwood Corral and associated structures. It is actively burning in Pacific fisher suitable habitat and has burned thru numerous Spotted Owl PACs. The fire has advanced closer to the community of Ponderosa and two organization camps to the north. Within the planning area, values at risk include private/public property located on the Tule River Reservation, the communities of Ponderosa, Camp Nelson, Cedar Slope, Rogers Camp, California Hot Springs, Peppermint and Johnsondale Work centers Goshawk PACs, cultural resources, and the Slate Mountain Botanical Area. There are numerous campgrounds, recreation sites, and trail systems, including the Summit National Recreation Trail."
